Question:
What determines whether you can add an additional solar panel to your solar charge controller? I have a Morningstar Duo charge controller SSD-25. I currently have a Waree 190 watt panel.

Hey Ken, what it comes down to is what the controller is rated for and whether or not adding an additional solar panel can increase the output of it. The Morningstar Duo charge controller SSD-25 that you have is rated for 25 amps which is quite a bit more than 190 watts so you could easily add an additional panel like the 190 watt # GP47MR to what you have now and the controller would be able to take full use of the additional power generated by the second panel.
