Where Does Hopkins Tow Bar Lighting Kit Install on 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

My Jeep Grand Cherokee has the factory plug in on the inside rear driver side panel. It is a male plugin and the female side would have to go inside the existing or OEM mount will this work for this vehicle?

Hey Andrew, the Hopkins tow bar lighting kit part # HM11142565 that you referenced is a fit for your 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee but it doesn't install using the connector you mentioned finding. It actually installs by plugging inline with the trailer wiring connector that is found under the vehicle which you can see more about in the attached install instructions link on this page.
