Can the factory trailer brake controller on my 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 be replaced with an aftermarket or do I have to have the factory controller?

You can replace the factory brake controller on your 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 with an aftermarket like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. First you will need to have the programming for your factory controller removed by a dealer before you can connect the P3 with the Wiring Adapter # 3064-P.
