Question:
The article about the PS30094 and RP50083-58 states at the end that this combination cannot be used for the Crew Cab. Is that the same for the Quad Cab? If so, what can I use?? thanks,

I spoke with my contact at ProSeries and the 15K Fifth Wheel Custom Install Kit with Above Bed Rails, # PS30094 and # RP50083-58, will work on your 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab with Non-EcoDiesel engine as long as your vehicle does not have an air suspension system.
The reason this hitch will not work with the CrewCab model is the fact that it's bed is less than 6 ft long. Sliding hitches are not recommended for these shorter beds because they do not provide enough clearance when making turns. If you owned the CrewCab model, a Sidewinder would have to be used in place of your current pin box. I have attached a FAQ article which explains the benefits of a Sidewinder on truck beds shorter than 6ft.
