Recommended Hitch and Bike Rack for a 2006 Honda Accord

Question:

Hello we have a 2006 Honda Accord and are thinking about getting the Curt 2 bike Platform Rack C18085. Will this rack work with a 1 1/4 Draw-Tite Class 1 hitch Rec-Sport Frame? This is what they offer at Uhaul for installation. I wasnt sure since the Bike rack is Curt and the hitch frame is Draw Tite. One other question is do we need the Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing strap Item 18050 with the bike rack? Thank you

Yes, they'll work fine together! The Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack item # C18085 works with class I hitches like the Draw-Tite item # 24787.

No, the use of the Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap for Hitch-Mounted Accessories item # 18050 is not required for use with Draw-Tite hitches just Curt ones. It wouldn't hurt but you're not required to for warranty reasons.

The Draw-Tite Hitch item # 24787 is confirmed to fit both the sedan and coupe models of the 2006 Honda Accord.
