Can Integrated Brake Controller of 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 be Bypassed

Is it possible to install after market brake controller to 2015 Silverado 2500 HD 6.0L. It has the GM factory brake controller already in it. Any hardwiring or bypassing that needs to be done? What controller would you recommend if it’s possible?

Yes you can bypass the brake controller of your 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500.
I have attached an article for you below. The process is basically just cutting the blue wire from the back of the controller and routing your own to the trailer connector. The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 will be a great option and can then be used with the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3016.
