We have a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee and we’re looking for a wiring harness to plug into our trailer which is a flat 5. We always used to plug it into a 7 way with an adapter. Will this work?

Yes, you absolutely can plug an adapter into your 7 way which will allow you to connect the 5-flat. The 5-flat includes a reverse light function, which would already be run to the 7 way. If you already have a 7 way on your 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee, you can use the Might Cord Adapter # A10-7275VP.
If you need to install a 7 way you can use the Tekonsha T-Connector # TK39VR, along with our Universal Install Kit # ETBC7. Both of those kits combined will include everything you need to install a 7 way on the back of your Grand Cherokee. Then just plug in your adapter and you will be good to go.
