Question:

I recently purchased hitch and wiring harness from etrailer . My wiring harness has four pole flat receiver . My trailer has seven pole round male connector . I need a simple connector , male four pole to female seven pole .

If by round you mean the connector itself is round you can use the # 30717 you were looking at which is for a 7-way blade. However, the ground wire will need to be connected with a screw since all of the 4-way vehicle to 7-way trailer adapters are designed with permanent installation in mind.

Alternatively, you could go ahead and fully install a 7-way so you have all of the functions using the # ETBC7. This kit comes with the adapter, wiring, and everything else you need. Based on the hitch you got it looks like you have a RAV4 so I went ahead and added an installation video below so you can see what the process is like.

If you actually have a 7-way round and not a 7-way blade you could use the Custer Trailer Connector Adapter - 4-Way Flat to 7-Way Round # KIT-7P-4. Just like the other adapter, you would still have to run a screw for the ground wire to be able to use it. If you don't want to do a complete installation with this or the other adapter you can simply plug in the 4-way, attach the ground wire, and cap off the other functions.
