Question:

Can I use a C59236 on my car instead of the 119250.? I was told the 119250 was being replaced by the C59236 Thanks

The # 119250KIT and the # C59236 are two completely different applications, and the # C59236 is NOT a replacement for the # 119250KIT. The # 119250KIT is called for on vehicles with a highly sophisticated and complicated wiring system like that of your Volvo. Your Volvo uses a multiplex wiring system, and the # 119250KIT will work on almost all vehicles with a multiplex wiring system and it has been tested and found to work very well on your vehicle.

The # C59236 works on most, but not all multiplex systems. Curt could not say if it will work with your Volvo, and therefore recommends using the # 119250KIT. I would recommend using the # 119250KIT, which includes the fuse holder and the wire to connect the converter to the vehicle battery.
