Does any additional part or work need to be installed under the front hood in engine compartment?

No, you would not have to do any additional work in order to install the Tekonsha T-one # TK29VR on your 2023 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. You simply plug in the harness, insert the included in-line fuse, connect the ground wire to good clean metal and you are all set. There are no additional parts needed. It really is quite easy.
