I want to install the rails and brackets in a 1997 ford f150 Supercab. Is this the correct model? I already have a Curt 5th wheel hitch. Also, I’d like the rails in carbide black.

To add a set of 5th wheel rails and brackets to a 1997 Ford F-150 super cab, I recommend the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit item # C16437-204. This kit is custom fit and installs in existing holes in your trucks frame. These rails have a carbide black finish and are compatible with Curt 5th wheel hitches.
Something to note from Curt, you will not be able to use the lowest setting on your sliding hitch with this rail kit or any of the available rail kits.
To make towing with a 5th wheel easier I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness item # C56000. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
