Hello i purchased my second trailer hitch from you and have even very pleased. My trailer takes a 2 inch ball mount. What size tongue do i need for this hitch on my 2004 BMW X3? Thank you!

Glad you've been satisfied with your experience with us, and by tongue I do believe you are referencing a ball mount for the Curt hitch on your BMW X3. For a ball mount that fits a 2 inch hitch, an adjustable option would be best to ensure you get the right rise or drop:
- Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ball Mount # C45901
The # C45901 will give you a maximum of 5-1/4" rise or 6-3/4" drop and you can adjust it for whatever your specific needs are. It comes with a pin and clip so you'd just need the 2" Hitch Ball # 40038.
