Replacement RV 30 Amp Converter to Replace Triad Utrad

Question:

Hello, our converter is fried and no longer working. We have a 1988 Country Coach. The current converter is a Triad-Utrad TU-775-2 converter charger. 120 V 60 HZ 5.5 AMPS, 12.0 VDC 30 AMPS Total Max. We are looking for the best options for replacement for the converter charger. What would be the top 3 recommendations if there isn’t just a hands down best choice? Thanks very much!

We have two options that match the 30 amp converter you are replacing with the difference being what type of batteries you have. If they are lithium batteries you would need the Progressive Dynamics part # PD9130LV which charges at the higher voltage needed for that type of battery but if they are non-lithium batteries you would need the part # PD9130.
