I would like to find a roof rack for my 2016 Silverado 1500 series that uses the stake pockets, and allows use with a rollup tonneau cover. 5'6" bed.

What you need is a ladder rack for your 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 5-1/2 foot bed because roof racks won't mount directly in stake pockets. This will be functionally the same, however, and for a rack designed to work with roll-up tonneau covers you'll need a rack from Access. Their M-Series has the same low-profile look as a roof rack, and you can choose from either a matte black or aluminum finish with one of the following:
- Matte Black Finish: Adarac Aluminum M-Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A32KG
- Aluminum Finish: Adarac Aluminum M-Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # AD54FR
The racks have a 500 lb capacity and both have an aluminum construction which means they won't rust, unlike other racks that are made of steel.
