Question:
Just looking for the easiest way to wire up my existing trailer lights to my 4Runner. I bought my 2008 4runner used and installed a trailer hitch. I assume that this means it does not have a towing package. Is this part the best option for my situation?

If your 2008 Toyota 4Runner did not come with a factory installed 7-Way at the back, you will have to hardwire one in. The first step though is to install a 4-Way flat trailer connector using # 119178KIT. I have linked the instructions for you.
Then you can install a 7-Way and make it fully functional using # ETBC7. This comes with the 7-Way and all the wiring and accessories to install it. I have included some links that explain the ETBC7 installation.
