Troubleshooting A Jensen JWM40 Stereo That Turns On But No Sound Comes Out

Question:

I have a Jensen jwm40 radio in my camper it will let me set the timer but I’m not getting any sound

I went ahead and checked out the owner's manual for the Jensen RV Stereo w DVD Player - Double DIN - App Control # JWM60A and the radio turns on but isn't putting out any sound then you'd need to do the following:

-Make sure that the volume, fader/balance, and mute controls are set correctly,

-Verify that the proper speakers are selected,

-Verify that the speakers are connected properly,

-Check your wiring for any open circuits on your speaker wires,

Finally, if everything looks good then you can try resetting the unit.
