the left tail light went out on my thule transporter. is it replaceable? i cant figure out how to open the light assembly. is there a trick to this? any help would be appreciated thanks

I do have an option for you but we no longer offer a replacement tail light for the Thule Transporter Combi Hitch Mounted Enclosed Cargo Carrier part # TH665C. That said, we do have an LED option that works in the Miro-Flex LED Tail Light part # STL35RB and that's what I recommend.
In regards to fixing the old light, unfortunately, I don't have an exact write up on this but there are no fasteners holding the light in place, just a rubber grommet which can be pressed in and out. Once the light is out, you can see if there are any fasteners holding the two parts together, if not try prying them apart with a trim panel tool.
Please note, you can use a plug-in tester on the vehicle to be sure the issue is with the cargo carrier and not the trailer wiring harness.
