Question:
I have a 2023 Tundra 5 1/2foot bed. I dont think Toyota has stake pockets on this truck. How would I anchor your rail system with no stake pockets?

Expert Reply:
Since your 2023 Toyota Tundra with a 5-1/2 foot bed does not have stake pockets, you'd need to drill holes in the bed rails to install the Adarac Aluminum Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A32BG.
So you'd drill a 5/16" hole through the bed rails and then a self-threading bolt is used to anchor the rails to your Tundra.

How do you put a self threading bolt into sheet metal? This does not sound like good advice. I would think that something stronger is needed. Is this advice from the manufacturer? .
