Nope, you do not have to drill into the frame of your 2020 Ford Explorer to install the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT69MR.
The holes are already present in the frame of your Explorer so you don't have to drill any, or even enlarge them; the frame will remain as-is.
