Can Curt 16204 Industry-Standard 5th Wheel Hitch Rails be used with the Reese RP50142 Quick Install brackets? Any modification required?

You unfortunately can not mix and match 5th wheel rail and bracket kits. So if you have the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails # C16204, you'll want to use a corresponding bracket kit # C16306.
Conversely, if you have the Reese Quick-Install Custom Bracket Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP50142, you'll want to use the Reese Universal Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP58058.
