Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the CURT Semi-Custom Fifth Wheel Bracket Kit for the Dodge Ram 1500 trucks. Now, this part will fit the 2009 to 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks. Fits the 2010 to 2018 Ram 1500 trucks with the coil springs, excluding the limited model. And it fits the 2019 and newer Ram 1500 Classic with the coil springs.
Now, on a part like this, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model of vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for application. Now, these brackets here are designed to mount beneath your truck bed, and they do provide the attachment points for your fifth wheel base rails to attach to. Now, it will require the CURT Base Rails, which we do sell separately. They go by part number C16104, C16204, or C16205. All three of those parts we do sell separately, and they're all the same parts, the only difference is the finish on them.
Now, these brackets here are semi-custom brackets. They're required if you're not using a custom mounting bracket kit. Basically, these brackets will provide a semi-custom fit that'll cut down the installation time when compared with universal bracket kits. And on these semi-custom brackets, drilling is required. It will include everything shown here on the table.
It includes the mounting brackets. All the necessary hardware for installation. Nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how this installs. And these parts do have a nice, black powder coat finish to them to resist corrosion. And they are designed to work with industry standard base rails that are compatible with BMW, CURT, Draw-Tite, Reese, and Husky above bed fifth wheel Trailer hitches.
