I have a Westin Grill Guard and dont know what its for was told it would fit Dodge Ram but it doesnt fit the 2nd Gen Model?

To add a grille guard to your 1996 Dodge Ram pickup you need the Aries Grille Guard # AA5042 which comes with the mounting hardware designed to install the Aries grille guard on your truck.
Unfortunately it doesn't look like Westin has a fit for your 1996 Dodge Ram pickup. Grille guards are vehicle and mounting hardware specific so the only way for yours to fit your truck is if it happens to mimic the body size of your truck and if you're able to fabricate some kind of mounting kit for it.
