Question:
Hello! Im interested in the Power Center PD4135K 35A for charging my 138Ah Lithium battery in my very small camper van. Can you tell me anything about how loud is the fan? I see that it spins at variable rate depending on power draw. How loud is it in its idle state? Thanks.

Having been around these quite a bit I can say that for the most part the fan of the # PD4135K is typically off unless the battery is was drained and really needed to charge back up. Typically these are installed in a cabinet so a lot of the noise is pretty muffled, but I can see where you might get a bit more in a smaller camper van. That being said it won't be enough to ever drown out a conversation being had in the van.
