I checked with Tekonsha and they show the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # TK77FR as a fit for all models of the 2021 BMW X3, including the X3 M so it will fit and work well for you. The harness features a simple plug-in installation without any cutting or splicing and provides a standard four way connector which is the most commonly used.

In order to complete your setup you'll also need a trailer hitch. I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76226.
