If your Everchill RV Refrigerator w/ Freezer # EV77FR is freezing up then I have the following troubleshooting recommendations:
1. First you'll need to thaw out the drain line. Turn off the power running to the fridge and leave the doors open so that the ice will melt. Once the ice is melted you can remove the lower back panel to gain access to the drain line and can ensure that it's clear using a pipe cleaner brush.
2. Check the temperature settings and lower them.
3. Check the ground for the refrigerator. It sounds like a joke but we've had issues that have been resolved by simply running the ground directly to the frame of the RV instead of running it to a ground bar in the power center. With an improper ground the fridge could still work, but not properly, such as the defroster not kicking on as needed.
You can also check the voltage running to the fridge with a multimeter # PT89ZR to ensure that it's getting 12 volts.
If these steps do not solve your issue then let me know and we can troubleshoot further.

We have defrosted the freezer and it works but the refrigerator section isn’t cooling. We have also tried resetting but it keeps blinking. This camper is only 4 years old. Is there something else we can try or does it need to be replaced?
