I reached out to Detail K2 and they informed me they do not recommend making the tongue on their Mighty Multi Utility Trailer # K2MMT4X6 foldable. They said this will void all the trailer warranties.
I recommend installing some etrailer Horizontal E-Track # e25VR on the floor of the trailer for attachment points. You will be able to fasten these to the underbed using the etrailer E-Track Backing Plates # e46RR. This will allow you to use a Tie Down Ring # 59131 with some traditional Straps # EM34416 or E-Track Ratchet Straps # IMF18800-87 to secure your cargo.
