Question:

2005 Jayco Greyhawk 31 SS. I would like to swap out the Carrier Air V HC AC only unit with a Heat Pump unit. Trying to get back up heat to the LP furnace. I have the Ducted unit. Do you have any recommendations. Thanks

There is a direct replacement for your Carrier Air V Rooftop Air Conditioner. It is the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Carrier Setup item # ACCAR150 for white or item # ACCAR150B for black. They will use the same ceiling assembly and thermostat/remote that you have now which is why it is considered a direct replacement.

The Advent RV Air Conditioners have an adapter wiring kit so you do not have to re-wire your entire AC unit, it is compatible with Carrier thermostats and relay boxes.

With either of these options, for a heat strip you will need the Electric Heat Strip for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners item # ACMHD.
