You'll need to install a power center that converts AC power to DC and distributes the energy to your appliances. To find the correct size converter you'll need to look at the amp hour rating of your battery(ies). The amperage of the converter needs to be at least 10% of the total battery amp hours.
For example, if you had a 200 amp hour rating you would need at minimum a 20 amp converter charger.
Typically most RV's have a 35-60 amp rated converter so the Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 45 Amp # PD4045KA would be a great option. It has 6 branch circuits (when using tandem breakers) and 12 fuse ports for DC appliances. All of your AC and DC appliances can be ran to this power center and you can run your generator power directly to it.
To get your generator power to your power center you'll also need a power inlet like the # 277-000138 you were looking at. You can run 10AWG or thicker wire from the back of this inlet to the power center.
