Question:
I would like to add a large auxiliary battery to my cargo trailer to power the lights and wire in a charger for the auxiliary battery from shore power. I would also like to add a converter that would allow create a AC standard outlet. Ive read through what I can find on your site using the isolation solenoid but wondered if you would be able to line me out with the items needed. Thanks

To charge your battery bank from shore power you need a converter like the 45 Amp Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger # PD9245C and then you can use the Go Power Heavy-Duty Modified Sine Wave Inverter # 34280174 so you can have 2 standard-type outlets. To power the interior lights on your trailer you'll just pull that power directly from the battery bank and you'll control the power using a rocker switch like part # 37212525.
That will give you the basics for what you need but I also recommend picking up the Converter Status Remote Pendant # PD92201 so you can monitor the charge of your battery bank, and then you can use an Electrical Cable Hatch # 372541-2-A with the installation kit # 3724195 to give you an easy way to run an extension cord out from the converter to a shore power outlet.
Attached are some videos for you to check out. If you had anything else you wanted to add please let me know!
