I have a F350 CCLB and tow a 5th wheel. I need to understand how far the mounting rails mounted inside the box reduce the overall clearance for my kingpin to swing from side to side inside the truck box.

The bed rails on the TruXedo Pro X15 Soft Tonneau Cover # TX1479601 extend into the bed 3" on each side on your 2022 Ford F-350 8' long bed.. Do note the rails will also sit 1/2" higher than the bed rails. It is recommended to have at least 5-6" of vertical clearance for the 5th wheel from the top of your bed rails. You may be able to adjust the 5th wheel hitch or your pin box if you need additional clearance.
The TruXedo Universal Tailgate TruxSeal # TX1703206 will allow you to help keep dirt and moisture out of your bed when the tonneau cover is closed.
