Is There a Roof Rack That Bolts Onto Ditch Channel for 2014 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab

Question:

I have a 2014 Toyota Tacoma w/ access cab. I’m in the market for roof racks and have looked at the Rhino rack which attaches to door frame I’m a little sceptic about security of this system carrying an expensive racing kayak. Question: is there a roof rail system that will attach to the mounting screws in my cab under the current strips that I can then attach crossbars?

I do have an option for you but there aren't any roof racks for a 2014 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab that attach to hardware under the ditch molding (if present). Therefore, you can either go with a rack that hooks onto the door jambs or you can drill into the roof to install tracks. The option is up to you but these are your only two choices for this vehicle in regards to carrying anything over the cab.

Track System (Drilling Required):

Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack part # Y02-480B

For a kayak carrier, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Nautic Roof Kayak Carrier part # RR571 which is a complete system that comes with cradles and tie-downs.
