Furrion Fireplace Does Not Turn Back On When Below Temperature Setting
Published 10/31/2022 >
Question:
dont think my fireplace is working the way it is supposed to. It heats to the desired temperature, then shuts off......it will not turn back on when the temperature s below the set temperature. One night I set it to 70 and heated up no problem. Woke up in the middle of the night and it was 62. We did not have the timer set to anything and there are no error codes. Also there doesnt seem to be any difference between the low and high fan speed settings.

I spoke with Furrion about the Furrion RV Electric Fireplace with Crystals part # FF30SC15ABL, the auto on/off feature is controlled by the timer and not by the thermostat. That said, there are other factors that could cause the fireplace to turn off such as slide activation or tripping the thermal breaker. The fireplace is not designed to heat an entire room but rather provide assistance to a furnace.
Please note, the Furrion RV Electric Fireplace with Crystals will not turn on until the room temperature is above 65 degree Fahrenheit.
