Will Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes Work with Lectric Step-Through E-Bikes on RV

I am getting conflicting information on your website as to whether I can use your Yakima Y36FR bike rack to carry my Lectric XP Step-Thru 2.0 electric bikes with 3inch wide tires, to be mounted on the back of my 2023 THOR 28foot Class 3 motorhome with a 2inch hitch?? The weight of each bike is about 63 lbs and a previous post said that it could only carry bikes 40 lbs MAX each!! What is the real story on this configuration - are these racks really designed for RVs? And will they work for these Lectric bikes? Thanks

I do have an option for you but the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes part # Y36FR when used on the back of an RV only has a 40 per bike weight capacity. Instead, I recommend the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes part # HLY64FR which has an 80 lb per bike weight capacity. This rack also has a frame clamp system similar to the Yakima OnRamp so it will be our best option for folding bikes like the Lectric Step-Through E-Bikes. It also has locks for security and is designed to be used on the back of an RV.
