Question:

I have a1998 Chevrolet K-2500 8500 GVW with a BandW turnball gooseneck hitch. Would like to install air bag helper springs. Any idea what kit I need. The closes I can find is Firestone F2025.

We do have some rear suspension enhancement that you can use on your 1998 Chevrolet K2500 with the B&W Turnover Ball gooseneck hitch. The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2025 as well as the Air Lift options we carry are not compatible with an in bed hitch like your B&W.

I recommend using the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3611-CHD. This attaches solely to the leaf spring and does not require a mount on the vehicle frame. It has a weight capacity up to 3,000lbs and will help to reduce sag, reduce sway, improve traction and decrease wheel hop. The system is also adjustable allowing you to tailor it to a better ride quality.
