Question:
I am wondering if this could safely be used with a 3000 watt pure wave inverter in a solar powered 12 volt system. I have so far been unable to locate a induction stovetop that operates on straight 12 volt.

Yes, you can use the Greystone RV Induction Cooktop - Double Burner - 1,800 Watt - 120 Volt # 324-000127 with a 3,000 watt pure sine wave inverter.
The # 324-000127 has an 1,800 watt connected load and max amp load of 20 amps, so make sure your inverter falls within those ranges. That said, you would need a very larger battery bank and solar array for this so powering it via generator would be a better option.
