7-Way Trailer Wiring Kit for 2018 Toyota Highlander to Install Brake Controller

Hello - I have a 2018 Toyota Highlander Platinum with the full tow package. I also own a 16’ flatbed trailer with brakes that I wanna safely use with it. Currently I’m using a 4-way to 7-way adapter if I need to move small stuff with the Highlander, but I really braking control. I have one space left in the dash slots, so I’d like to mount the brake controller knob there. What products/kits do I all need to add a brake controller with a dash knob and to change the existing 4-way flat on the OEM hitch to 7-way round + 4-way flat?

For your 2018 Toyota Highlander the 7-way kit you'd want is the part # 22119 which also comes with brake controller wiring as well. This would work great with the Redarc Tow Pro Elite brake controller part # RED24FR that you mentioned. To utilize the opening you have on the dash for the knob we have the Mounting Panel part # 331-TPSI-002 which is a confirmed fit for your Highlander as well.
