Question:
This is in regard to a previous question. Still using the SureCall Fusion2Go Max Cell Phone Signal Booster Extend, instead of a home/permanent installed unit….is there an antenna that can be swapped for the phone to repeater portion? In fact, if we bought a duplicate antenna like the repeater to cell tower, and used it phone to repeater, would that work for this application? The reason I’m asking is because we usually have our truck but we may not always have the camper with us. Also if you have any further thoughts, let me know. Thanks!

The SureCall Fusion2Go Max Cell Phone Signal Booster for Cars and Trucks # SC53MR is not limited to just inside the vehicle. That being said, the signal booster range is more limited (a few feet from the antenna). If you are directly outside the vehicle you may still receive the boosted signal. But walking away from the vehicle or being around the camper fire would likely result in losing the signal.
If you are wanting a signal booster with a larger range, you would want to look into one like the SureCall Flare 3.0 In-Home Cell Phone Signal Booster # SC63MR which covers a 3,500 sq. ft. area. But the flip side is that it is not as conducive for vehicle use. It is designed more for home, office, or cabin use.
