When installing the Vehicle Wiring Harness # C55369 on your 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee you will not be able to run the wiring to the outside of the vehicle and have it plugged in next to the trailer hitch # e92AR.
The harness plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side interior trim panel in your rear cargo area. Once the installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed in an out-of-the-way location within your cargo area.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease # 11755 on all electrical connections, the plugs on your vehicle, and the 4-pole connector itself to help prevent corrosion.
