Question:
Installing a 5th wheel hitch what is the distance from the rear of the bed to the back rail

Expert Reply:
From the rear edge of the bed to the rear edge of the rear fifth wheel rail it will measure 32-1/4 inches. The measurement from the rear edge of the bed to the rear of the front rail is 54-3/16 inches for the recommended Reese rail kit. Other manufacturers might have slightly different dimensions.
The recommended rail kit for your 2011 Ford F350 is the Reese Fifth Wheel Kit # RP50026-58. This is a custom install kit that will install in about half the time as a universal kit and will minimize drilling.
I attached an install video for this product for you to check out also.
