Is The Thule Frontier Compatible With The EasySnap Mounting System?

Hello, my Thule box is a Frontier TH668TT not a TH668ES using the metal fitments which I really dislike, would you think it will be possible to convert my cargo box to an easy snap with one of these kits 05704 or 05820 Thank

I spoke with Thule, and they informed me that your Thule Frontier TH668TT cargo carrier is not able to be converted to be compatible with the EasySnap Mounting System.
I know you aren't exactly a fan of the metal mounting hardware # SR04952 that you currently have but the only way to be able to use those EasySnaps is to use a completely different cargo carrier that utilizes that system, however those cargo carriers have been phased out.
Instead, if you are interested in an upgrade, then I recommend taking a look at the:
-Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box # TH629806.
This cargo carrier does not use the EasySnaps, but rather the PowerClick system which is just as efficient and easy to use as the EasySnaps.
Additionally, this cargo carrier has a weight capacity of 165-lbs, and has a cargo capacity of 18 cubic feet, and would be a great replacement for your Thule Frontier should you choose to upgrade.
