How Should Two Batteries Be Wired To Accept A Charge From Solar Panels

Question:

I am looking to purchase and install two 12V marine batteries #BRW34FR on my trailer. I am trying to link the batteries together and have my roof mounted solar panel charge both batteries. How do I do this.

You'll simply need to wire your two Bright Way Deep Cycle RV or Marine Battery # BRW34FR in parallel. This links the batteries together so that the voltage stays the say but the amp hour ratings will be added together. From there you should be able to simply attach the solar panels to just one of the batteries, but I do recommend checking the wiring diagram of your specific solar system because I have seen a few where there do require specific ways to wire them when using multiple batteries.
