Troubleshooting Lack Of Power To A Go Power Pure Sine Wave Inverter Remote

Last October, order # 112201652, I purchased a Go Power 2000W pure sine wave inverter and a remote, GP-ISW-R-12/24, for the inverter. Yesterday I connected the inverter to a battery. The inverter works fine, bu the remote will do nothing. I had the inverter switch in the remote position and the cable connecting the two pieces. It was as they were not connected. The remote never had any lights lit up and would not turn the inverter on. I do not have the extra 12 V wire connected as it is only for a truck. Not an RV. What else do I need to do? Thank you

I spoke with Go Power and they stated that this is very common as most people plug the connector for the Remote for Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter # 34279999 into the wrong side of the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter # 34278156.
You'll want to ensure that the connector is plugged in on the DC side and not the AC side where the outlet is.
