A checked with Thule and the Motion cargo box, # TH629906, will fit the factory crossbars on the 2005 Ford Excursion but there will be rear hatch interference because of the boxes 100-1/2 inch length. The largest box that will fit without rear hatch interference is the Motion 18, # TH629806.
