Dear etrailer experts, Just a quick inquiry - Im looking for the trailer hitch for 2015 BMW X5 xDrive 35d M sports model. I searched in etrailer and it appears the Draw-Tite product clearly indicating excluding M sports model. If possible can you please let me know why this is not for M sports? I see the Curt one supports everything including M sports model. Really thanks in advance

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75600 will not fit the M model of your 2015 BMW X5 due to the exhaust differences between the models. The M model moves the exhaust inward and also adds an additional exhaust tip on each side. Due to the lower cross tube on the Draw-Tite it will not fit properly with the exhaust.
Since the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13077 positions the cross tube higher it will fit without the exhaust issue.
