Do I Need To Ground My ComeUp Seal Gen2 Off-Road Winch

Question:

I have the 12.5rs Comeup seal 2 winch that I purchased from you guys. Im curious if it is normal for the winch to run only off of the positive cable- Ive disconnected it since it seemed odd.

No, this is not unusual. You can run the ComeUp Seal Gen2 Off-Road Winch - Wireless Remote - Synthetic Rope - Hawse Fairlead - 12,500 lbs, part # CU295795, from just the positive battery cable, though it is not recommended. You should have a ground when operating this winch.
