Question:
Hi there, I’m looking at towing a tear trailer with my minivan. There is a height discrepancy—the trailer tongue is higher than the ball coupler on the minivan by about 6”. I know that if you have a taller vehicle you can easily get a hitch , but what if it’s the other way around like in this case, what can I do? Thanks.

I would be happy to help you. You will need a ball mount with 5-6 inches of rise to lift up the height of your ball mount so it is level with the coupler on your trailer.
If you have a 2" hitch you will want the Curt Ball Mount item # C45446. This ball mount has a 5" rise. You will want to use the 2" hitch ball item # A-90 with this ball mount.
If you have a 1-1/4" hitch you will want the Brophy Drawbar item # BM96. This ball mount has a 5-1/2" rise. You will want to use the 2" Hitch Ball item # 19258 with this ball mount.
