The DeeZee Red Label Truck Bed Toolbox, part # DZ8170DLB, will fit your 1998 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup. It is designed to fit both the 6-1/2 ft and 8 ft beds without stepside feature. This is a low profile toolbox that sits 2 inches above the truck-bed rails allowing plenty of visibility. It has 2 locking stainless steel paddles and has gas shocks which help provide a smooth lifting and lowering of the lid.
