Question:
I do have the 7-way trailer connection at the back of my vehicle 2000 Chevy Suburban 1500 Series. Is the installation instruction for my vehicle the same as the 1999-2006 Chevy Pickup installation? or is it different?

You can install any brake controller on your 2000 Suburban, with factory 7-way connector, by using the Universal Brake Control Wiring Adapter 1999-02 Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, item # 3025-S.
I would recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, item # 90885 and adapter # 3025-P, one of our best selling brake controllers.
If your 7-way connector was not factory installed then you may need the Replacement Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connectors for Ford, GM Trucks with Factory 7 Way, item # 30955, to use the factory wiring for the brake controller on your Suburban.
