How to Install the Putco Chrome Body Side Molding # P403531 on a GMC Yukon XL

Question:

My current molding is cracked and some pieces broken off as the adhesive is failing, How do I apply your molding and re-adhere the current molding that came with the vehicle?

The Putco Chrome Body Side Molding, # P403531, is adhered to the vehicle using double sided 3M tape that is pre-installed on the molding. You will simply clean the surface of your vehicle as indicated in the installation instructions where you want apply the molding, then peel and stick the molding onto the vehicle. I have attached a link to the installation instructions for you to check out.

To re-install the current molding, I recommend removing as much of the old adhesive as possible from the vehicle and the current molding, then use double sided 3M tape to reinstall the molding.
