Question:

There is a summary that says the spec is 140lbs, and then when you look at the package together it says 165 lbs. Wanted to see what it was definitively for a 22 mazda cx5

The Inno Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 45" Long and 48" Long # INXB115-123 by themselves can handle 165 lbs, yes. The part that makes it a little confusing is when you get into vehicle fitment because the roof or mounting points may not be that strong for any given vehicle and parts combination.

For example, when you take the parts that fit your 2022 Mazda CX-5, Kit # IN97HR, Inno says this combination with your vehicle is only rated for up to 140 lbs.

If you want something rated higher it looks like Yakima has their JetStream Roof Rack # Y76TB rated for 165 lbs still for your vehicle. Yakima is more of a premium option so that will come with a higher price tag, but you will also get that higher weight capacity as well.
